This map was created for a presentation on wildfires in British Columbia. It displays all recorded wildfires from 2002 to 2012 and from 2013 to 2023, along with an estimated total area burned during these two periods. The past decade has seen a drastic increase in wildfire occurrences and large-scale landscape disturbances.

A clean and simple design was chosen to emphasize the comparison between the two time periods for the presentation.
