- Downloaded Landsat 9 from USGS EarthExplorer

- Used NIR and SWIR satellite bands

- Created false color composite in QGIS

- Calculated NBR using raster calculator tool

- Applied USGS burn severity classification thresholds

- Converted burned pixels into vector polygons

- Removed noise using extract by expression

- Calculated total burned area using statistics

- Cross validated results using two map layers

- Exported final map at 300 DPI resolution

RESULTS :

Total Burned Area → 36,709 hectares

Area → 367 square kilometers
