This map visualises the percentage of land affected by wildfires in California counties over 2012–2022. I used a geoprocessing workflow to summarise wildfire data by overlaying fire perimeter layers with county boundaries, calculating the affected areas for each county, and converting these into percentage values. The results were displayed using a colour gradient to highlight the varying levels of wildfire impact across the state.
