This project explores the relationship between critical habitats and oil and gas wastewater pits in Colorado. Based on the results of this project there does not seem to be any significant relationship between the variables. Although, there are some areas in western and central Colorado where there were closed wastewater pits near critical habitats, but aside from these areas there does not seem to any relationship between the variables within the state.
