This project portfolio examines conservation-related issues affecting coastal wetlands in Galveston, Texas. Using datasets from sources including the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI), FEMA flood hazard data, and the National Land Cover Database (NLCD), my maps analyze wetlands protection status, flood hazard near wetlands, and urban development intensity nearby wetlands.
