This project involved determining the geospatial position of exposed glacial geomorphic features in the forelands of Breiðamerkursandur. These positions were determined by acquiring a DEM of the area from the National Land Survey of Iceland and calculating a slope map. These features (n=163) were then manually recorded using the polyline tool, with feature width, length and cardinal direction determined using the arcGIS python plugin. Additional ground features were also highlighted from original DEM, and slope map. Former ice margin positions were extrapolated from previous ice margin mapping
