This map is the resulting product from a midterm project in Advanced GIS on Service Area Analysis, where various drive times were modeled from fire/rescue locations to various areas in and around Portland, Oregon using cutoffs of 3-, 6-, and 9-minutes. These designated cutoff times were selected because they can mean the difference between life and death for someone needing fire and/or rescue assistance.
