This map is the resulting product from a lab in Advanced GIS on multidimensional data, where present-day climate types were modeled and compared against predicted changes to their overall area in the next century. This model was ran to estimate the shrinkage of a Mediterranean climate type in particular, and is expected to shrink by almost 40% by the year 2099.
