Jump Watershed Lithology

This map resulted from my 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at the University of Portland. The project aimed to visualize the link between divide migration signals and hillslope processes through grain-size distributions.

Jump Watershed's outlet sits on a large band of intrusive volcanic rock, establishing a slow erosion rate throughout the watershed. I displayed the underlying lithology of Jump Watershed to explain the motivation behind our research.
