For September's Spring/Fall Map a Month theme, I chose to look at two events happening on the same day in the US next month: the annular solar eclipse and the October Big Day. I collected data from last year's October Big Day on eBird to highlight areas in this year's eclipse path of high species diversity and counties that had no completed checklists submitted.
