I retrieved data from ACS for unemployment rate, income, poverty rate, children 18 or younger, and adults 65 and older. For all data, I created a binary score calculated from the average in the state of Wisconsin, except for income which I calculated the binary score from the average in Madison. I created a buffer of a quarter mile of all the bus stops in the city. All the layers were convert in to rasters using the binary score then added using raster calculator, then converted back to polygon features. Once the score was in polygon form, I created a buffer of 1.5 miles around all current libraries and deleted the areas within the distance from the scored polygon layer.
