This project examined whether noise complaints in Montréal are spatially concentrated near major construction sites and nightlife venues. Using Spatial Colocation Quotient (SCQ) analysis, noise complaints were tested for statistically significant proximity to these potential noise sources across weekdays and weekends. The results reveal clear spatial and temporal patterns, with stronger colocation in central boroughs and higher apparent activity during weekdays, partly shaped by the operating hours of the 311 service.
