The main criteria considered for this project included

• population desnisty

• proximity to roads

• proximity to pre-exisiting Health Facilities

• Slope

• Land Cover

  The data for the respective criteria were all presented in a raster format and reclassified into unitless figures in relation to suitabilty. The final suitablity map was derived by carrying out a weighted raster calculation.

  Working on this project was quite interesting for my because it gave me a sense of purpose as it is a topic that involves solving real world problems
