This project was an assignment to use cartographic principles to create a map of Crater Lake National Park however we best saw fit. For my project, I went the imaginary route and came up with an idea to make a poster for a fake national park on Mars, inspired by old maps and advertisement posters from the New Deal era of the early 1940s. I used actual DEM, trail, road, and other publicly available data from Crate Lake NP to create this map in ArcGIS Pro and also used actual geographic naming conventions of Mars gathered from NASA's website.
