This project was created to answer a request by the CA Community Colleges Chancellor's Office to geospatially identify possible collaboration opportunities between community colleges and local high schools to develop CTE healthcare programs using Strong Workforce Partnership (SWP) funds. I imported data in shapefile and csv formats, pre-processed large data tables, geocoded addresses, and joined data by attributes. Spatial analysis included regular and multi-ring buffers as well as selecting by location. I stretched my skills beyond requirements by adding proximity analysis and running statistics on proximity data to find distances from high schools to community colleges in individual and aggregated categories.
