To present a spatial analysis of land use and land cover in the municipality of Luís Eduardo Magalhães (Bahia, Brazil) for the year 1985, highlighting the distribution of major vegetation types, anthropogenic areas, and territorial patterns identified through geospatial data.
This project is part of the Spatio-Temporal Data Analysis course within the Postgraduate Program in Geoprocessing at IF Baiano. Using cartographic bases and vector datasets, a thematic map was produced to represent the territorial configuration of the municipality in 1985. The map provides insight into the environmental context and land occupation stage prior to the agricultural expansion that would intensify in the following decades.
