I created this map for a Cartographic Design course in which we had to create a multivariate map. This map's goal is to highlight the correlation of poverty and maternal mortality. I aimed to design something that is easy for a larger audience to understand at a glance. I sourced my data from the CDC and U.S. Census Bureau. I created the rough draft using ArcGIS Pro, exported it into Adobe Illustrator, then added the table using Excel.
