This happened to be my final year project at Dedan kimathi university of Technology in 2019.

I developed a tourist guiding system which was a web based GIS using geoDjango framework. The system would serve as a guide to tourists by providing information such as sites of interest, hotels and restaurants, banks, places of worship and markets. OpenStreetMaps api was used as the base maps in the system where directions to different locations within Mombasa at a step by step level. The system supported analysis through buffer analysis based on distance, price and means of transport available.
