In exercises 4 a,b, and c, we converted shapefiles into geodatabase feature classes and a table into a feature point class. We limited entries of pipe diameter to only four options. Snapping was utilised to connect existing valves. Water pressure zones were split and merged. Water lines were moved by snapping on valve points and inserting a vertex.
This exercise would be useful when mapping area's under development. If a city neighbourhood or road requires mapping modification it can easily be done using the snapping tool.
