After calculating the land surface temperature from all available cloud-free Landsat pixels(Ermida, et al., 2020) between June 1 and September 30, 2022, a mean summer image was produced. There are visible outliers, which after closely examining all of the imagery within each of those regions, and areas with cloud or aerosol interference, which would have been largely masked.
The map was produced using the ggplot2 package in R and all Landsat imagery was acquired through Google Earth Engine.
