This Beaufort County Flood Risk StoryMaps project brings together FEMA flood zones, elevation data, social vulnerability, historical flood claims, and critical infrastructure to show where flood risk is highest. The work behind it included collecting and organizing datasets, processing them in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, running spatial analyses like buffering, intersecting, raster calculation, and kernel density, and then presenting the results in a structured StoryMaps narrative.
