In this project, I prepared and train a deep learning model to identify mangrove forests in India using Landsat 8 imagery from 2016. After that, I deployed my model on imagery from 2021 for the same study area to analyze how the extent of mangrove forest has changed over time. Potentially, these results can help conservation mangers to better understand how forests are impacted by natural and built environments.
