In the aftermath of a major Atlantic hurricane, I supported a utility-focused geospatial mapping initiative for an engineering contractor working with a large energy provider. The project involved digitizing and analyzing post-disaster infrastructure impacts, such as damaged substations and downed power lines, across a multi-county region in the Southeast U.S.
Using Python, ArcGIS Pro, and custom symbology standards, I maintained detailed spatial records of recovery efforts and asset restoration. I also helped develop map deliverables that supported field crews and internal coordination during critical restoration timelines. My contributions helped streamline damage assessments and prioritize response zones in highly impacted rural and mountainous areas.
