This project employed ArcGIS and HEC-HMS to model the Illinois River Watershed and predict design storm discharges for 2-, 5-, 10-, 25-, 50-, and 100-year events.

The hydrologic modeling required parameters such as the impervious cover percentage of each sub-basin and its dominant soil group, which were determined in ArcMap.
