By downloading Landsat 8-9 satellite imagery from USGS GloVis, I would clip each raster layer within the confines of Collin County, then implement the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and NDBI (Normalized Difference Built-Up Index) tools to show the difference between vegetation and urban growth/decline between the years 2014 and 2024. In addition to that, Unsupervised Pixel-Based Classification Schemes were created to show specifically how the urban and rural settings of Collin County have changed within the past decade.
