Tornadoes pose a massive risk to the United States as the vast majority of Tornadoes are formed in this country. Using data provided by NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center, Initial Point shape file data of tornadoes from the years 1950 to 2024 was uploaded onto ArcGIS and clipped onto US Census Data portraying the state boundaries. These points were then used to create various scenarios, describing which states have experienced the most tornadoes, which regions were most affected, and which counties suffered the most.
