*Percentage of tree canopy cover (PCA) for the urban neighborhoods of São Gabriel

It is observed that although the PCA index of the total urban area presented a considerably high value when compared to data found in the literature, this value, when observed on a micro scale, demonstrates a non-homogeneity in tree distribution. This non-homogeneity is precisely linked to a concentrated existence of large areas of vegetation cover in locations further from the urban center.
