This project was a winning submission to the NASA hosted Pale Blue Dot: Visualization Challenge.
The competition required participants to create a visualization using openly available Earth observation data and open source tools in order to advance one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I worked with a team of two other graduate students and together we created a map of solar panel suitability for the Turks and Caicos Islands, advancing the key U.N. SDG of Climate Action.
