From my research, I concluded that out of the 48 glacial lakes assessed, 3 lakes have a very high susceptibility (1.0 - 0.85), 6 have a high susceptibility (0.85 - 0.70), 17 have a medium susceptibility (0.70 - 0.55), 17 have a very low susceptibility (0.55 0.40), and 5 have a very low susceptibility (0.40 - 0.25). These findings support my hypothesis that I would identify lakes that may be very susceptible to a GLOF and I found 9 lakes that would be at least highly susceptible. I was surprised to see so many glacial lakes expand as much as they did in just a 19-year period. Some lakes expanded more than 3 times their size in 2002.
