This project reveals the where the deepest irrigation well are located in the within the Great Plains regions within Nebraska. According to the map the majority of Nebraska's irrigation deepest wells are in the Central Great Plains region more specifically southwest and central Nebraska. The Western Great Plains region has deep irrigation wells too but they tend to be between within 308-398 feet which is fall short of 399 - 650 feet irrigation wells present in the Central Great Plains region. Eastern Nebraska does not have many deep irrigation wells as this part of the state is located outside of the Great Plains region.
