This map originally displayed obesity prevalence data in the Midwest region of the United States. I focused on isolating and displaying the data only for Illinois, USA. This was done by selecting only relevant data and creating a separate dataset for Illinois. The map originally displayed obesity prevalence data for 5 states in the East North Central region of the midwest, it was then configured to a new dataset that displayed Illinois data only.

This can be transferred into a future career in the environmental industry because often data sets can include a wide area when only a portion is needed for analysis. For example, a dataset may include an entire watershed but only one portion of the river needs to be tested for pollution or conservation efforts. By being able to isolate only the relevant data on a map, I am able to make a more focused analysis.
