This project visualizes fatalities from the Saba Saba 2025 protests in Kenya using a choropleth map to show deaths per county (e.g., Kiambu: 8) with a Blues color ramp (0, 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–8 fatalities). A sidebar summarizes 38 fatalities, ≥130 injuries, 14 gunshot deaths, and demographics (4 female, 2 children), with a pie chart for demographic distribution. Data is sourced from KNCHR (July 8–12, 2025), media (The Star, Daily Nation, Citizen TV, NTV Kenya, Nation Africa), and social media (Facebook, Instagram), with partial verification of gunshot deaths. Built with QGIS, DataPlotly, and QGIS2Web, the map includes interactive pop-ups with county details and source links, hosted on GitHub Pages to raise awareness of human rights impacts ethically.
