Content of the exercise includes learning how to import a map document, creating a folder connection and exploring layers that show particulate matter (PM) concentration measurements for each country. We also learned how to measure distances between Lima and Rio de Janeiro. This same exercise can be used for figuring out population data from different countries and can be effective to look at reasons why some populations may be higher or lower in a given area as well as measuring distance between two locations.
