Exercise 2a/b- Basics and Beyond Basics

In this exercise I was selecting multiple features at a time to ensure I was only focusing on the feature necessary. In this exercise I configured and displayed feature labels using symbiology, which is not just for looks it helps reader be able to read a map easier. For city layers I used graduated symbols, which is a range of symbols based on attribute field.

This exercise could be helpful to understand the population and help show differences over the years of human population. This can be beneficial in an environmental application to formulate answers on what countries are suffering from overpopulation and which countries might struggle with overpopulation in the future. A exercise similar to this could help with air pollution levels and helping with research of air pollution in countries. The tools I was using of ArcGIS can quickly be turned on and off to see what the map would look like with population by country, population by city, and air pollution by country.
