In this project, we adjusted the color scheme on a global map of particulate matter (PM) concentration to highlight cities and countries with the highest levels of air pollution. The color scale was designed to clearly differentiate between areas with low, moderate, and high PM concentrations, allowing viewers to easily identify pollution hotspots around the world. By using a gradient where darker shades represent higher pollution levels, the map provides a visual tool for understanding the global distribution of particulate matter, which is crucial for policymakers, environmentalists, and public health officials. This helps in identifying regions most affected by poor air quality, guiding efforts to reduce pollution and improve air quality on a global scale.
