I identified robbery hotspots in Philadelphia by analyzing crime incident data from ArcGIS, utilizing spatial statistics to visualize areas with high robbery rates. An environmental application of this analysis could explore the relationship between crime and environmental factors, such as green space availability. By mapping crime data alongside environmental variables, policymakers can develop safer, greener neighborhoods that enhance community well-being and promote public safety.
