This project was completed for my ArcGIS class, CE 508, at Purdue. This project involved analyzing and classifying Lidar data over Purdue's campus. I verified auto-generated lidar data classes using orthoimagery as a reference and reclassified any lidar data that was improperly classified. In addition, I enhanced the dataset by improving parameters for several lidar classes, such as trees (adjusted minimum tree height). This project also required the creation of custom lidar classes and a comparison to auto-generated lidar data classes. In this case, I created a custom classes for building, ground, and trees that were more accurate than the pre-generated ones.
