This project analyzes school accessibility in Al Nahdah district, Riyadh using Service Area Network Analysis in ArcGIS Pro.
A road network dataset was prepared and schools were added as facility points. Using the Network Analyst tool, service areas were generated based on travel distance along the road network (not straight-line distance).
Three distance thresholds were applied (0–7, 7–14, 14–21) to represent different levels of accessibility. The resulting polygons show coverage areas, overlaps between schools, and locations with limited access.
The analysis helps identify gaps in service distribution and supports better planning of educational facilities.
