Este mapa foi produzido para compor a dissertação de mestrado do pesquisador Daniel Barreto de Barros Moreira, que investigou a relação entre o território e a construção da identidade artística de Luiz Gonzaga Jr., o Gonzaguinha. O estudo analisa como as vivências do artista no bairro do Estácio de Sá e no Morro do São Carlos, marcadas por um olhar crítico sobre a realidade social e urbana da época, influenciaram diretamente sua obra musical. A pesquisa propõe uma leitura geográfica dessas áreas na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, especialmente durante a primeira metade do século XX, utilizando como base teórica os pensamentos de Milton Santos e Ana Fani Carlos.

O mapa apresenta a localização do bairro Estácio de Sá no contexto da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, incorporando informações topográficas aplicadas sobre imagem de satélite. This map was created as part of the master's dissertation by researcher Daniel Barreto de Barros Moreira, who investigated the relationship between territory and the construction of the artistic identity of Luiz Gonzaga Jr., known as Gonzaguinha.
