This project involved creating a spatial dataset from scratch using ArcGIS Pro. I manually digitized land cover polygons and trail lines for Stinchfield Woods, a property managed by the University of Michigan SEAS. Tasks included setting up a geodatabase, defining attribute domains, applying topology rules to ensure data integrity (e.g., no overlaps or gaps), and assigning symbology for visualization. I also georeferenced a scanned trail map by adding control points to align it with an existing roads dataset. The final deliverable was a complete GIS dataset and map suitable for use by The Nature Conservancy.
