a) Chapter 6c was based in the city of Houston. I completed this exercise in November of 2024. Following the workflow I created buffers, merged and dissolved features, clipped features, selected attributes and locations, and created a spatial join.
b) I would apply this same exercise in an environmental workplace by predicting air quality values. Monitoring air pollution levels due to things like traffic, industrial emissions and weather conditions. Could also create a map that would estimate soil contamination levels across an area.
